When is a workshop better than a meeting?
There are many reasons for needing a workshop. These might include: developing employee skills, getting teams to work better together, building new teams, problem-solving, generating new ideas, and sharing knowledge across teams.
Whether it’s a one-off, a series of workshops or a large-scale event, whatever its purpose, a lot of careful planning and preparation is needed to make sure you successfully deliver its aims.

Using our proven 4D approach we make sure that we really understand the brief, to enable us to design a workshop or programme that will maximise impact and effectiveness for the client. The elements of the approach are:
DIAGNOSE: interviews with workshop owner and key stakeholders to understand the brief and gain insight.
DEVELOP: define a clear question the workshop will answer and align with the workshop owner. Design the workshop, selecting the right tool(s) to achieve the outcome and maximise participant engagement. Develop any materials that will support the session. Identify the facilitation team who will deliver the session or programme.
DELIVER: facilitate the workshop, flexing and adapting to the people in the room and the conversation. Check-in with the workshop owner to ensure objectives are being met. Capture outputs throughout the session.
DOCUMENT: Synthesise and analyse outputs. Prepare a write-up that clearly presents outcomes and is engaging for those who attended and wider stakeholders.
